PHANTOM FENCE

Saturday, October 13, 2012.  The sun was so bright that the filigree pattern seemed as solid as the actual fence.  The delicate hues of the sandstone - blue, pink, gray - were enhanced by the solidness of this ephemeral image.

LOOPS & SHADOWS

November 28, 2010. A bike rack, a stanchion, a shape I remember from the farm, at milking time. Stanchion balanced on stanchion, each throwing their own shadow, mingled with shadows from the rest of the street fixtures, the cars and the people.
